Physical Media Pop-Up

Join us at Fridman Gallery’s bookstore pop-up to browse our wide collection of catalogs, art books, magazines, posters, and vinyl. Since its founding in 2013, Fridman Gallery has focused on innovation, social consciousness, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Physical media available will include exhibition catalogs and books from Fridman’s exhibited artists such as Nate Lewis, Remy Jungerman, Milford Graves, Alina Grasmann, Wura-Natasha Ogunji, and Tamar Ettun, as well as several vinyl records released on the gallery’s label. A $5 discount will be applied to students with a valid school ID.

During the pop up, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the summer group exhibition, Double Bind: Belonging and Its Discontents. Curated by renowned San Francisco gallerist Catharine Clark, the exhibition contends with the contradictions embedded within systems of visibility, citizenship, identity, memory, and power.
