Izzy Hagerup is a composer and producer who creates under the name Prewn. Her music is based on deeply personal experiences and functions as an intimate diary made available to the public. On the album System, she builds on her previous work with an even more uncompromising dive into themes of depression, guilt, shame, and self-reflection, balancing the darkness with dry humor and conscious self-pity. Hagerup writes and records all her music herself, often during long night sessions, creating a raw, distinctive sound that captures feelings of alienation, numbness, and quiet inner tension.
