About Erez Ella:
Born in Jerusalem in 1971, Erez Ella is the visionary founder of HQ Architects, an award-winning architecture and urban design studio established in Tel Aviv in 2008. Before launching HQ Architects, he held significant positions, including Associate at OMA (1999–2005) and Principal at REX (2006–2008), where he led transformative projects around the world, such as the TVCC in Beijing and the Whitney Museum in New York.

Erez oversees more than 60 active projects globally, showcasing a diversity of urban planning and design, including the Tel Aviv Metro M1 Line stations, cultural centers, and various public spaces. His recent projects include the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and the Stuart Weitzman Tennis Complex.

In addition to his architectural practice, Erez has co-curated the Israeli Pavilion at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale and served as a visiting professor at Yale. Currently, he is a faculty member at the Bezalel School of Architecture and actively involved as a co-instructor at Polis University in Tirana.
