Designed by marine architect Dave Gerr and developed from a concept by David Borton of Sustainable Energy, Solaris meets all U.S. Coast Guard regulations for commercial passenger-carrying vessels. 🌍
In late 2018, it successfully completed its endurance tests under Coast Guard supervision, capable of traveling up to 50 miles at night using only battery power. Even on cloudy days, its solar panels maintain efficiency, keeping the batteries charged.
