Exhibition Statement:
From May 1 to 17, explore two powerful narratives. "Rewind" delves into the aftermath of a life-altering accident, manipulating time and personal archives. Meanwhile, "Tresse de Méduse" addresses the gaze of the other, employing the ancient craft of 'hårarbete' to create snake-like talismans from hair, reclaiming women's spaces in society.

🎨 About the Artist:
Rio Drop, based in Örebro, Sweden, holds a Bachelor of Art from the Royal Academy of Fine Art, The Hague. Her diverse practice encompasses assemblage, sculpture, installation, and video, often utilizing human hair to reflect themes of presence, loss, and resilience.
