COLLECTIF ECHOES PRESENTS: UNOFFICIAL BLACK PRIDE 2026

With UK Black Pride cancelled this year, we're bringing UK Black Pride to Algha's Plantroom with ANTIMASS Collective and heavy bass Black Queer DJs to continue the long tradition of celebrating Black Queer existence, resistance and efforts within the Queer community (globally).

We are bringing artists from Africa and the diaspora together for a Pan-African lineup of collectives representing the UK, France and Africa. Our aim is to reclaim and platform the Black roots of Electronic Dance Music with emphasis on celebrating our ancestors through sound whilst collectively imagining and embodying liberated futures through dance.

We aim to tap into the world building creative power of Techno as envisioned and pioneered by the Detroit founders, the futurism of Jungle and Footwork, and make connections between the pounding rhythms of Gqom, the percussions of Amapiano, Batida, Bouyon, Coupé-décalé, and the soulfulness of Zouk, Afrobeats, Disco, House, Funk and more. Expect deep Bass and for your ass to shake. 

Antimass's queer Pan-African dancefloor radicalism converge with COLLECTIF ECHOES' archival musical production ethos to offer Algha's Plantroom exactly what it was built for: a space where community forms, identities expand, and new worlds are rehearsed on the dancefloor.

Algha's Plantroom exists as a femme-owned, queer-led space, and every collective walking through the door shares that DNA. We are Black, queer, trans, femme and working-class artists and organisers whose practice is inseparable from the EDM histories we carry and protect.

Expect heavy bass, radical joy, and a day party built by and for the people who carry this music's history in their bodies.
