
Screen Printing Open Session
*Important: You MUST complete the SP 101: Intro to Vera's Screen Print Studio class before registering for an Open Session!*Join us at Vera’s screen print studio for four-hour Open Sessions, where those who have completed the introductory class can utilize our lab for personal projects. Each session is supervised by a volunteer moderator who can offer advice based on the SP 101 teachings.
Ticket Options:
-Vacuum Table: Perfect for paper and flat media.
-T-Shirt Press: Ideal for t-shirts, tote bags, and fabrics.
-Screen Prep: Focused solely on screen preparation.
Note: Each ticket type is limited to two per purchase. If your desired ticket is sold out, please join the waitlist for updates on availability.
What Vera Provides:
- Rentable screens
- Emulsion & emulsion remover
- Squeegees
- Basic tools (spatulas, rulers, tape, etc.)
What You Need to Bring:
- Your own substrate (e.g., paper, t-shirts)
- Water-based ink (non-water-based inks are not permitted)
FAQ:

Can I get a transparent stencil printed?
Yes! Send your stencil file (.PDF, max 12" x 18") at least 24 hours in advance. Stencils cost $5, payable upon arrival.
Alternatively, print your own at a local print service. -
Need assistance with projects?
Moderators can help with SP 101 topics. For personalized guidance, contact us for tutoring. -
What if sessions are full?
Our studio is quite popular! If you can't reserve a slot, consider reaching out for private rental options.
