*Important: Prior completion of the SP 101: Intro to Vera's Screen Print Studio class is required before attending an Open Session!*Join us at Vera’s screen print studio for our four-hour Open Sessions, where creators who have completed the introductory course can utilize our state-of-the-art screen print lab for their own projects. Each session is overseen by a volunteer moderator who’s ready to provide advice and support on anything covered in our Screen Printing 101 class.

Ticket Options 🎟️

-**Vacuum Table:**For paper and other flat media
-**T-shirt Press:**Perfect for shirts, tote bags, and other fabrics
-Screen Prep: For basic screen preparation

Each ticket is limited to two. If your desired ticket type is sold out, please join the waitlist to be notified.

What We Provide 🛠️

  • Rentable screens
  • Emulsion and emulsion remover
  • Squeegees
  • Essential tools such as spatulas, rulers, tape, etc.

Participants Need to Bring 🏷️

  • Their own substrate (e.g., paper, t-shirts)
  • Water-based inks (please note, non-water-based inks are not allowed in the studio)

Frequently Asked Questions 📋

  1. Can Vera print a transparent stencil for me?
    Yes! Just send your stencil at least 24 hours before your session in PDF format (max size 12" x 18"). Stencils are $5 each, payable via Debit/Credit on arrival.

  2. Need assistance on your project?
    Our moderators can help with topics covered in the SP 101 class, but for one-on-one guidance, reach out to matt@theveraproject.org for private tutoring requests.

  3. No slots available for Open Sessions?
    Our studio is in high demand! If sold out, please consider booking a private rental; contact matt@theveraproject.org for rates and availability.
