Snake and Sip

Join us this Friday for our first Snake and Sip event! 🐍✨ Think of it as a “cat cafe,” but with the cutest and friendliest baby ball pythons. Hang out with @pythons_of_nyc, enjoy some tea ☕ (or kickstart your Friday with some Sake 🍶), and learn about the current art exhibition at Fugue Gallery — ‘Forbidden Fruit’.

👨‍⚕️ Meet Jason Melendez, a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2004. He is dedicated to responsible education and correcting misconceptions about exotic animals. With experience spanning from house pets to tree kangaroos, parrots, and rattlesnakes, he has owned snakes for over 30 years. Jason’s current collection includes 11 friendly snakes, 2 lizards (a gecko and a monitor), 2 birds, 3 mice, a Shih Tzu, a frog, and a scorpion. When he’s not saving lives in the veterinary emergency and surgery world, you can find Jason and his snakes exploring NYC, especially at Coney Island Beach and Boardwalk. 🏖️🐍
