Family Art Workshop for the Exhibition GA-I-SU-RA.

The word “interplay” comes to mind for the final family workshop held as part of the exhibition by Czech Japanologist, translator, calligrapher, photographer, and educator Petr Geisler. A man who spent his entire life connecting diverse and disparate worlds and approaches—and achieving original results—knew how to play. To play in the sense of enthusiasm for the subject, exploration, and experimentation, as well as testing the rules of the game. At the same time, he brought various toys and playmates into the game. His photography, calligraphy, and other works have their own charm, and it would be a shame not to try out this interplay of various inspirations as well.
