Speak up: your one-chance of causing a good first impression?

Om evenemanget

Many young individuals find it challenging to express themselves clearly in various settings, whether social, academic, or professional. This is not due to a lack of ideas but often stems from uncertainty about how they come across to others. Speak Up is a dynamic workshop series aimed at empowering participants to communicate with confidence, clarity, and authenticity.

Have you ever hesitated to join a conversation, fearing you might say something wrong? You're not alone! Such apprehensions can hinder personal and professional growth and limit meaningful engagement in community and democratic discussions. Speak Up addresses these concerns by helping participants articulate their ideas, pitch projects, and lead discussions.

📅 The first of four workshops, titled What Color Are You? Understanding Your Communication DNA, will focus on self-awareness and varying communication styles. Inspired by the DISC framework, this session invites participants to explore how different personality tendencies influence how they speak, listen, react, and interact with others.

Through a blend of communication training and democratic dialogue principles, individuals will have a safe space to practice expressing themselves, listening actively, facilitating discussions, and contributing meaningfully to group processes.

💬 Join us for this engaging and practical session to identify your unique communication style and discover how it influences your interactions with others. Gain valuable insights into your communication habits, strengths, blind spots, and learn how to adapt in various situations.
