Michaelyn Oby is a sultry princess whose captivating voice echoes the elegance of a golden era. Born into a musical family, she earned a reputation starting as “the little girl with the big voice” in Milwaukee. After moving to Memphis, she became a staple in the local jazz scene, performing at venues like The Sax on Sunday Jazz Jam and The King’s Palace Café on Beale Street. Now settled in Chicago, Michaelyn has graced numerous stages, including the American Queen Steamboat, and is known for her solo shows like “Feeling Good” and "Lady Sings Ms. Ross: A Tribute to Diana Ross".

An iconic figure in the music world, Dinah Washington was an American singer and pianist, celebrated as one of the foremost Black female recording artists of the 1950s. Known as the "Queen of the Blues" and the "Queen of the Jukeboxes", her rich discography spans jazz, blues, R&B, and pop. Washington's legacy is honored in the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
