Summer at Hostačov

Join us at Hostačov, a stunning 16th-century château nestled in the Czech Highlands! This unique summer programme invites individuals from Czechia and beyond to engage in serious discussions about the future of our world amidst a beautiful setting.

From late July to early August, immerse yourself in a vibrant two-week experience focusing on the implications of accelerating change. EA Czechia is collaborating on the first week's activities!

Whether you're passionate about artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, or global challenges, this is the perfect opportunity to spend your summer surrounded by like-minded individuals eager to explore important questions and ambitious projects. 🤝

Weekend Highlights (31 July – 2 August):

• Curated discussions aimed at navigating change with around 60 participants.
• Larger gatherings focused on effective altruism.
• Structured Saturday sessions featuring morning plenaries and dinner in the courtyard.
• An unconference session on Sunday for emergent conversations.

Weekday Experience (27 – 31 July):

• A residential coworking retreat with options for focused work on meaningful projects, study, or relaxation.
• Engaging discussions and walks in the breathtaking surroundings.
• A quieter and more flexible format for those who wish to recharge before the weekend festivities.

Additional Information:

• Contribution Model: €30–60/day (self-catered), €40–80/day (catered for the Wayfinding weekend), with options to reduce or waive costs, particularly for those working on valuable projects.
• Language: The weekend will primarily be in English, while weekday activities may vary based on participant preferences.
