🎭 Symposium ART-IN-RES 2026 🎭
Join us for the public portion of the ART-IN-RES Symposium, hosted by Nová síť. This annual event creates a space for sharing, reflection, and discussion on residency practices in Europe. This year’s edition will unveil the new international project Bridging the A-I-R (BtAIR) and provide an overview of current support options for residency programs.

14:00–14:30 | Introduction to the Bridging the A-I-R (BtAIR) project
A deep dive into the new international initiative aimed at enhancing the role of residency centers in Europe (lead partner: Nová síť).
14:30–15:00 | Presentation of BtAIR Partners
Schloss Bröllin (DE) – Katharina Husemann, Sabine Gehm
METTRIN Art Center (HU) – Sylvia Huszár
Representatives from these organizations will showcase their international residency centers, illustrating the intersection of artistic creation, cultural production, and long-term engagement with local communities.
15:00–15:20 | Visegrad Fund Residency Programs
Lenka Bučková (Visegrad Fund) will discuss support options for artistic residencies, including practical tips for applications.
15:20–15:35 | ART FARM Project
Markéta Málková will present an initiative linking residency houses with opportunities for artists in the South Bohemia region.
15:35–16:00 | Current Support Options in the Czech Republic
Join us for a discussion and collective reflection with the meeting participants.
