Talk GOMA – 20 Years On | Free
Join us for an insightful conversation marking two decades of the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in Brisbane! 🎉
Twenty years ago, GOMA's grand opening revolutionized Queensland's cultural landscape. To celebrate this milestone, we invite you to engage with GOMA architects Kerry Clare and Lindsay Clare, alongside artist Tony Albert, in a discussion led by QAGOMA Director Chris Saines CNZM.
Explore the evolution of GOMA, from its original architectural vision to the recent introduction of Tony Albert and Nell’s play sculpture, 'The Big Hose' (2022–25). This event will highlight GOMA's role as a vibrant cultural hub, a space for art, dialogue, and community engagement.
