MAYAN (PT) is the artistic identity of Ana Rita Costa, a Lisbon- and Porto-based DJ and sound artist whose work bridges club culture, immersive sound, and sonic storytelling. Her sets are built around momentum, connection, and carefully sculpted tension guiding dancefloors through states of trance, release, and collective dance.

Rooted in trancy house, groovy techno, and psychedelic influences, MAYAN’s sound balances raw energy with emotional precision. Her approach is intuitive yet controlled, shaped by a deep understanding of space, rhythm, and crowd dynamics. Rather than following trends, she crafts long-form narratives designed to be experienced both physically and emotionally.

She has performed across Portugal and internationally, with appearances at Lux Lisboa, Village Underground, Ministerium,
MusicBox, Arthouse Faro, RUMU Club, GRETUA Aveiro, and WOW Gala, as well as Le Sucre (Lyon) and Fengaros Festival (Cyprus). She was also supported by Guy Gerber and MEUTE on major stages, including DGTL Festival(NL) and the historic Coliseu de Lisboa and Coliseu do Porto.
