The Tell Tourney: Archery Apple Challenge at The Quiver

Join us for The Tell Tourney, a thrilling apple-shooting challenge inspired by the legendary William Tell! This event is open to archers of all skill levels and promises a fun way to test your precision and improve your long-distance shooting skills.

How It Works:

• Apples are placed on ground targets, starting at a close distance.
• Successfully hit an apple? Your shooting distance increases!
• You’ll receive six arrows per distance to attempt the shot.
• Miss all six? You’ll return to the starting line.
• Barebow archers get 4 “lives” to start over, while Compound archers get 2. Additional “lives” will be available for purchase on the day of the event.

Equipment Divisions:

• Open Compound Division begins at 10 meters
• Barebow Division begins at 5 meters

Age Classes:

• Youth: 8–12 years
• Teen: 13–17 years
• Adult: 18+
• Senior: 50+ only

Youth and Teen may compete in one class above their own. Seniors may compete in the Adult class. Only one class per person is allowed.

Awards:

• GOLDEN Apple Award: Farthest hit apple in each Division
• RED Apple Award: Farthest hit apple in each Age Class
• GREEN Apple Award: Given to every archer who enters, along with a certificate to record their farthest successful shot.

This unique archery tournament is a celebration of a true icon of archery history. All participants must register in advance!
