About Sam Contis:
Born in 1982, Contis has held prominent exhibitions worldwide, including at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive and the Carré d'Art in Nîmes, France. Her artwork is featured in various notable exhibitions, such as Phases at Arts and Letters in New York.

✨ Noteworthy Achievements:

• Recipient of multiple prestigious awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship (2022) and a Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grants to Artists Award (2024).
• Her work is part of esteemed collections at the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), and the Centre Pompidou (Paris).
• Contis has authored three acclaimed monographs, including Deep Springs (2017) and Overpass (2022).
• Currently serves as a Senior Critic in Photography at Yale School of Art, based in New York.
