Join us for an unforgettable night at Encore, Sundbyberg Stockholm as Weapon proudly celebrates the digital release of their much-anticipated single ‘Ain’t No Preacher’! This track marks the beginning of their upcoming album ‘Strength & Honour’.

💭 The lyrics were co-written with my dear friend and original Weapon bassist, the late Baz Downes, back in the 80s. Although the demo was lost over the years, I felt it was essential to honor Baz by including it on the album. Thankfully, my current co-writer and great friend Robert Majd crafted the perfect music to accompany the lyrics. As a tribute, my son Elliot plays on the track using Baz’s bass, which was graciously gifted to me by his sister Sherley after Baz's passing ❤️.

Carpet Dime emerged from the Nordic underground rock scene, determined to blend raw energy with melodic depth. Formed in Stockholm in the late 2010s, their members share a passion for classic hard rock, grunge, and modern alternative metal, as well as a mutual disdain for bland rock music. Their name reflects an aesthetic of something seemingly mundane hiding an unexpected value and sharp edge.

🎶 Characterized by down-tuned guitars, powerful riffs, and dynamic drumming, their lyrics oscillate between self-reflection, social commentary, and dark humor. Carpet Dime has cultivated a rich sound where aggressive elements merge with serene atmospheres, earning them a dedicated audience that appreciates both the weight of their music and its emotional resonance. For them, hard rock transcends volume and bravado; it embodies honesty and the courage to reveal deeper truths.

Headrush, a dynamic group of 20-year-old Stockholm-based musicians, began their journey as a four-piece named Heave in 2025. After some lineup adjustments, including the addition of a charismatic lead singer, they rebranded as Headrush, embracing a bold new identity. Their sound powerfully draws inspiration from iconic rock and metal bands like Alice In Chains, Pantera, and Soundgarden, fusing grunge styles, heavy riffs, and intense vocals. Notably, Elliot also plays bass guitar in this vibrant ensemble.
