Most blockchains currently rely on public-key cryptography, which future quantum systems may compromise. While post-quantum standards are progressing, discussions in the blockchain community have decreased. This session will explore recent research papers on post-quantum implementations across public and private networks from the perspective of a quantum information researcher.
We'll review current developments and discuss what upgrading blockchain cryptography looks like in practice.
