🌟 About the Artists:
Mynt Ortega (Enkhzaya Davaanyam-Ortega) [she/they] is an accomplished tattoo artist from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and co-owner of Sacred Rose Tattoo. Mynt’s passion for art was ignited by watching her mother’s fashion illustrations, and she has been devoted to tattooing since childhood. Mynt combines her artistic skills with a commitment to client satisfaction, bringing expertise and empathy to her work. When she’s not at the studio, Mynt enjoys running a handmade marketplace with her partner, reading outdoors, or playing video games like Mario Kart and Fall Guys.
Wesley Haack is a California-born and raised, transgender artist with a B.S. in Biology, adopting a technical approach to the aesthetics of nature. After completing his apprenticeship in tattooing in 2022, Wes is now a full-time artist in Oakland, focusing on creating safe spaces for his clients, including gender-variant and neurodivergent individuals. Beyond tattooing, Wes is a printmaker, filmmaker, and taxidermist, recently showcasing his work in a solo exhibition at the Pacific Grove Museum.
