Canyon Cinema is thrilled to present the Print Generations Premiere Screening! Inspired by J.J. Murphy’s groundbreaking film Print Generation (1974) and commemorating the centennial of 16mm film (1923–2023), this project is dedicated to nurturing analog filmmaking in the Bay Area.

✨ Event Highlights:
Watch stunning new films created by talented filmmakers Tijana Petrović, Amy Reid, and TT Takemoto, selected through an open call without restrictions on subject matter or style—just a commitment to working with 16mm film. This premiere presents their works alongside selections from the Canyon Cinema collection, tailored by the Print Generations cohort.

• Tijana Petrović: A filmmaker and educator whose works engage with themes of history and the natural world.
• Amy Reid: An artist exploring gender, national identity, and labor through collaborative projects.
• TT Takemoto: A queer Japanese American filmmaker examining intimacy in Asian American history.
