2026 Attica Barrel Racing Series

Get ready for the thrilling 2026 Attica Barrel Racing Series! 🐴

Join us every Thursday night from May 7 to August 20, 2026, for action-packed barrel racing at 230 Exchange St, Attica, NY!

Event Schedule:

• Sign-ups: 6:00 - 7:30 PM
• Final Competition: Sunday, August 30, 2026
  • Sign Up: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Runs begin at ~1:30 PM

Important Info:

Competition Update: The event on August 6th is cancelled due to the Annual Rodeo. This series is not affiliated with the rodeo, and separate entry procedures apply.

Barrel Racing Classes:

• Open Class: Entry Fee: $20
• Youth (ages 16 & under): Entry Fee: $15
  • Rollover Time: Youth riders competing in Open may carry their time to the Youth class.
• Novice Youth (up to age 10): Entry Fee: $5
  • Reserved for children with little to no competitive experience; assistance allowed.
  • Riders must advance to Youth after three competitive times.
• Lead Line: Entry Fee: $5
  • For children needing assistance through the pattern. Minimum of 8 entries required for year-end prizes.

Payout Information:

• Payout Structure: 4D payout for Open & Youth; percentage-based payout for Novice Youth & Lead Line.
• 80% payback, with added money when available.

Dress Code:

• Western collared shirts or t-shirts (no tank tops)
• Western riding boots (minimum 1" heel required)
• Helmets are required per NYS Law.

Additional Notes:

Points can be earned each week, and final standings will play into year-end awards. For those looking to excel, complete at least 8 scheduled races to qualify for the Finals! 🏆
