2026 Kiwanis Kids Spring Sucker Tournament

🌊 The Kiwanis Club of Chesaning warmly invites all children aged 16 and under to participate in our annual Kids Spring Sucker Fishing Tournament! 🌟

📍 Location: Showboat Park
🗓️ Date: October 10
⏰ Time: 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM

🏕️ Enjoy a fun-filled day by the riverbanks while adhering to Michigan DNR laws.

💰 Registration:

• Drive-thru registration opens at 9:30 AM.
• Cost: $5.00 per registered child (exact change appreciated!).
• Night crawlers will be available for purchase at $3 per dozen.

🎉 Prizes:

• Drawings take place at 11 AM, 12 PM, and 1 PM. Check the weigh station (boat launch pavilion) and our Facebook event page for announcements!
• All prizes must be claimed by 2 PM.
• Registered children are also eligible for raffle prizes.
• Cash prizes for the top three children in each age group based on the weight of their heaviest fish:
  1st Place: $100
  2nd Place: $75
  3rd Place: $50
• Remember, all weighed fish are subject to cavity inspection for added weights. The weigh station will close promptly at 1 PM—no late entries accepted!
