🏃‍♂️ Join Us for the 2026 Spring Lake Accotink 5k & 10k!

🌳 Experience the thrill of running for a cause! This event counts towards our Year-Long 5k, 10k, & Back of the Pack Series.

📅 Date & Time:

• 10k Start: 8:45 AM
• 5k Start: 9:00 AM
• Back of the Pack Time: 11:30 AM

🏃‍♂️ Registration Fees:

• 5k: $30 (until March 31), $35 after
• 10k: $45 (until March 31), $50 after
  Note: An additional $5 will be added on race morning for each distance.

👕 T-Shirts and Medals:

• Guaranteed for those who register before April 1! Extra shirts available on a first-come, first-served basis thereafter.
• View the T-Shirt Design once approved.
• Medal design unveiled the Friday before the race on our Facebook & Instagram!

🏅 Awards:

• Top 3 men and women overall and age group awards (19&Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70+).
• Top 3 overall winners will not be eligible for age group awards.

🎽 Virtual Run Option:
For those unable to attend in person, we now offer a virtual run option! More details available on our Virtual Races page.

🤝 Charity Support:
This race benefits the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation, which finds loving homes for homeless pets. Since 2001, they’ve saved 40,000 lives!

🗺 Course Details:
Both runs feature an out-and-back course, with the 5k mostly on trails and the 10k having a 50-50 mix of paved sections. Expect some small elevation gains on the northern side of the lake.

🚰 Water and Amenities:

• Multiple water stations along the courses.
• Restrooms located at the hilltop near the beach.

📋 Packet Pickup:
Arrive one hour early on the event day for check-in. Race day registration is also available (shirt size not guaranteed).

🌦 Weather Policy:
We're an all-weather race—rain or shine! Any cancellations will be communicated via email and social media.
