Last October, lead singer and guitarist Isaac Gibson had a profound realization on stage at London’s O2 Arena—exactly 10 years ago, he formed the rapidly rising alt-country band, 49 Winchester. What a journey it’s been! “We had just gotten out of high school when we played our first show. Now, 10 years later, we’re opening for Luke Combs at the O2 Arena,” Gibson reflects.

On the heels of Combs’ European tour, 49 Winchester has been dazzling audiences, selling out renowned venues across America. In celebration of their milestones, they are excited to present their latest album, Leavin’ This Holler.
“We were on a slow simmer for a lot of years before things really started to pick up with our last record, Fortune Favors the Bold,” Gibson shares. “And this new album is going to do it even bigger!”

Leavin’ This Holler is their fifth studio album and features incredible collaborations, including the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and renowned singer-songwriter Maggie Antone.

With influences from various musical styles, Gibson emphasizes their commitment to family over business. “It’s always been a family affair,” he asserts. Nestled in Castlewood, Virginia—a small town with a population of just over 2,000—49 Winchester defies their humble beginnings with a fierce resolve for musical greatness.

Their new album delivers raucous country beats, poignant ballads, and powerful guitar riffs, all while showcasing a matured sound. From upbeat tracks like “Hillbilly Happy” to heartfelt songs like “Tulsa,” this album reflects a newfound sense of intent and purpose. “Each album captures a different season in my life,” says Gibson.
