This unique evening of dance features the brilliant Jodi Melnick and Sara Mearns, who creatively intertwine the past and present through movement. Together with five incredible dancers including Amanda Kmett’Pendry, Cat Kirk, and Tamisha Guy, they present a stunning performance set to an original score by James Lo and carefully designed by John Monti.
Dive deep into the history of dance created by women, as Jodi and Sara reflect on their ten-year collaboration, under the umbrella of the theme for the Harkness Mainstage Series 2025/26: Women Move the World.
Melnick’s innovative approach embraces movement, memory, and her experiences with legendary female artists, while also paying tribute to groundbreaking figures like Anna Sokolow and numerous esteemed choreographers who have influenced her journey.
