About the Performance:
AFRO DEAD, formed in 2022 by Aaron Feder, brings a refreshing twist by reimagining the Grateful Dead's music through the vibrant styles of Afro-Pop, including soukous, Afrobeat, high-life, reggae, and more. This show marks their Cedar debut, featuring members from Chicago's Alma Afrobeat Ensemble, and they'll be joined by Minnesota's own Demitrious Rallis Band (Frogleg). Don’t miss this electrifying fusion of rhythms!
