The Blue Wisp Big Band has been the go-to jazz orchestra in Cincinnati since its founding by drummer John Von Ohlen and trumpeter Don Johnson in January 1980. Their passion for jazz quickly made them a favorite, performing first at the iconic Blue Wisp Jazz Club.
