Celebrate innovation and education at the Bright Ideas 5K & 1 Mile, taking place in the heart of historic downtown Conway! This exciting community race benefits classroom-based educational projects through Horry Electric Cooperative’s Bright Ideas Grant Program.

Runners and walkers of all skill levels are welcome to participate!

🎯 Purpose of the Race
The Bright Ideas Grant Program supports creative classroom projects that aren't covered by normal school funding, benefiting K–12 educators throughout Horry County. Your support helps nurture:

A flat, scenic 5K course leads you through downtown Conway with police support and course marshals on site!
