Led by the talented songwriter Kevin Dehan, this band embodies the spirit of Texas country music, influenced by both iconic songwriters and the boldness of outlaw culture.

With a sound that's whimsical yet poignant, reminiscent of John Prine and Tom T. Hall, Cactus Lee has carved out a distinct musical path since their formation in 2019. Over the years, they've produced six albums, including two new releases in 2023, showcasing Dehan's self-taught, innovative recording style.

The latest self-titled album features introspective tracks covering themes like love, loss, and self-discovery. The opener “Rabbit” captures the essence of a traveling musician's journey, while the lead single “Roll Maggie” tells a compelling family story. Not to forget “Got A Heart Like Rainwater Blues,” a profound reflection on life and its true values.
