🔥 CADAVER, led by the legendary Anders Odden, has been a pivotal force in Norway's extreme metal scene since 1988. With six albums released since their debut in 1990, the band continually pushes the boundaries of the genre by incorporating unexpected musical elements.

In 2024, Anders Odden dove deep into Cadaver's history and unearthed unreleased material from the band’s early days. Before signing with Earache Records in 1992, they recorded raw and unpolished versions of songs that would later become iconic, including a previously unfinished track titled "Maltreated Mind Makes Man Manic." This material has since been completed in Studio Tomb, where Cadaver started their journey.

The result? Hymns of Misanthropy, an album originally from 1991, will finally be released in April 2025 through Listenable Records. This album showcases Cadaver's unique contribution to extreme metal and their influential role in the early Norwegian black metal scene, delivering a powerful glimpse into their history.

🎵 The live performance features the acclaimed drummer Bjørn Rønnow (known from Borknagar and Trollfest) and Eilert Solstad on double bass, adding a unique dimension to the band's intense sound. Cadaver continues to deliver raw, challenging, and current death metal!
