CLUB COSMIC

Club Cosmic is a party series run by Alexander Arpeggio at the renowned art space Sameheads in the heart of Neukölln, Berlin. The idea behind this series was to bring the vibe and music of the festival Camp Cosmic, created by Albion Venables, to a year-round gathering. What distinguishes Club Cosmic is its ambition to cultivate a community around a shared appreciation for “cosmic” sound both historical and emergent. It draws on Berlin’s rich tradition of electronic experimentation while inviting audiences into a space where the boundaries between dance, sound art and underground culture blur.
Across multiple editions, Club Cosmic has showcased a rich array of international and local talent. Lineups have spanned live acts and DJs from expansive sonic territories from Munich’s experimental electronic trio Spiiiders and Dresden’s enigmatic Bronko T. to synth storytellers like Surf Dancer and Copenhagen-based Nixxon. The events often feature back-to-back DJ sets, live synth performances and curated musical explorations that extend into the early morning hours, reinforcing the ethos of adventure and discovery.

DJ: In this edition Club Cosmic features Alexander Arpeggio and Emil Doesnt Drive. Both collecting italo disco and 80s dance records since 2003. They met in 2007 at a “Das Drehmoment” party in Berlin, where a shared passion quickly evolved into a creative partnership. From that night on, they began hosting parties and DJing together, dedicating themselves to the shimmering, synth-driven side of disco culture.
Over the next decade, the duo helped shape Berlin’s Italo disco scene, cultivating a that special Berlin Disco sound. Their recent reunion behind the decks at Panorama Bar / Berghain reignited that original spark. Now, they return to the Sameheads basement, ready to create fun moments on the dance floor and savoring the joy of playing side by side again.

LIVE: Reinorgeln, the project of Naomi and Anton, born from their deep love of Italo disco and 80s music. Known for performing covers of classic Italo tracks and 80s and 90s bangers on vintage electronic home organs they have appeared on side stages at festivals such as Cosmic Gathering, where they once played in a garage setting on rescued organs.
For their first performance at Sameheads, Reinorgeln will move five to eight years forward in sound technology. Instead of their usual 70s home organs, they will perform using an Elka OMB 5, a Wersi Stage Performer MK1 and the iconic Roland Juno-106. Authentic 80s synthesizers and drum machines that defined the era. While their signature style often leans on older organs for a particular nostalgic touch, this Italo-themed night calls for the real 80s sonic arsenal. Get ready for massive Italo Madness.
