Countdown - Mix It UP

On Saturday, April 4, Sigurd CPH launches the very first edition of Countdown - Mix It UP!, a new recurring club concept built for a dancefloor that does not believe in staying in one lane. Three DJs from different genres and communities share the booth in 30-minute rounds, keeping the room in constant motion as sounds clash, shift, and reset all night long. From house, baile and afro rhythms to garage, bass and club heat, the whole point is movement, surprise and a floor that never gets too comfortable.

For the first round, we’re bringing in these three:

· Rosa Maluna
Rosa Maluna channels years of dancefloor knowledge into sets with pulse, depth, and control. Rooted in house but never limited by it, she moves through soulful textures, garage swing, and rhythmic left turns with a selector’s instinct and a dancer’s precision.

· Jungle Julia
Jungle Julia draws from baile funk, afrohouse, batida, and Afro-Portuguese club music with a sound that feels textured, percussive, and emotionally charged. Her sets carry a sense of movement and cultural memory, shaped by openness, curiosity, and a refusal to stay in one lane.

· MABINTI
MABINTI brings a warm, magnetic energy to the booth, guided by afrobeats, amapiano, hip hop, R&B, and dancehall. Her sound is sensual, groove-led, and deeply attuned to the feeling of the room, creating moments that feel both intimate and expansive.
