Day of Dance 2026

Join us for an extraordinary Day of Dance filled with workshops, showcases, and exciting Jack and Jill competitions! 🎉

Event Highlights:

• Family Dance Camp: Kick off the festivities at 12:00 PM at the Des Moines Ballroom! 🌟 Learn to dance and perform with your favorite little dance partner, guided by the wonderful Anne Bates.

• Workshops: From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, enjoy a variety of workshops led by talented instructors Tallis Strub, Christopher Spalding, and Kelly Bartlett. Topics include:

  • WC Swing
  • Argentine Tango
  • Night Club Two Step
  • Smooth Partner Connection

• Evening Showcase & Jack and Jill Competition: 🎭 In the evening, move to GrandView University for our much-loved showcase and the thrilling Jack and Jill competition! Sign-up forms will be available at the Des Moines Ballroom or feel free to DM us for more details.

Pricing Information:

• $80: Full day (4 workshops + evening ticket)
• $50: Family Dance Camp (workshops, 2 evening tickets & performance fee)
• $20: Per workshop
• $25: Jack and Jill passport (access to all 8 events)
• $5: Per Jack and Jill event
• $20: Adult evening ticket
• $15: Youth evening ticket
