It has been two decades since Katy Davidson last graced a Swedish stage. During this time, Dear Nora has evolved into an indie phenomenon - a well-kept secret that has influenced a generation of bedroom pop artists through streaming and whispers.

Dear Nora is an ever-evolving indie-pop band, characterized by a rotating cast of musicians and a sound that refuses to stagnate. The band has existed in two distinct eras: 1999–2008 and from 2017 to the present, with a decade-long silence in between. Their early music is pop-punk-ish, raw, and confessional.

The contemporary material is more poetic, genre-blending, and expansive. The binding elements across these two eras are catchy melodies, vocal harmonies, and lyrics exploring themes of time, space, capitalism, nostalgia, and all kinds of relationships.

Since their early years predated smartphones and social media - and virtually no digital material from that time survived - Dear Nora has acquired a near-mythical aura. Their following is small yet devoted, truly a cult sensation.

For this Stockholm performance, Dear Nora will take the stage as a duo alongside bassist Zach Burba, marking their first show in Sweden since 2003.
