DESOLATION COLONY is the captivating doom electronic project helmed by Joshua Strachan (known for his work with Vaura, Azar Swan, and Blacklist). Blending elements of industrial, noise, power electronics, and EBM, Strachan reflects on our daily struggles through a lens of aggressive soundscapes and relentless energy. This project has recently launched two full-length albums:

• A Rapture of Blooming Revenge, released via Phage Tapes, and
• The Impossibility of Haunting a Barren World, released via Throne Heap.
  In A Rapture of Blooming Revenge, Strachan presents an intense, beat-driven exploration of destruction and humanity's retreat from nature. In contrast, The Impossibility of Haunting a Barren World offers a raw, power electronics-infused take on humanity's self-destruction through technology and war. Desolation Colony has shared the stage with notable acts such as Xeno & Oaklander, Agent Side Grinder, and Years of Denial.

ASKA, led by Kristófer Páll, views himself primarily as a poet but values the transformative power of music. Moving beyond Black Metal, he embraces electronic music as a medium to experiment with the spoken word. His performance highlights exclusively Icelandic texts, with each word resonating like a lament from a troubled soul, perfectly in tune with Aska’s melancholic sound. Blending haunting melodies with unsettling noise, Aska crafts an intricate tapestry of microsounds while maintaining a minimalist effect. The addition of a drum machine introduces a skeletal rhythm, inviting the audience to dance. This project navigates a vast emotional landscape, seamlessly merging elements of wave and industrial to create a style that is super dark, super sad, and super beautiful!

MODE IN GLIANY is the brainchild of Boris Völt, a composer and performer from Brittany. Co-founder of the influential Brume Records in the late 90s, Völt's work traverses industrial electronics and acousmatic art, focusing on a live performance approach. His presentations feature exclusively analog and DIY equipment, employing live looping and sequencers to build real-time tension. His vocals, often in French with Breton influences, intertwine with sharp synth riffs and textured guitar soundscapes. Visually, performances are enhanced by captivating black-and-white 3D graphics and lo-fi video collages derived from found footage. Expect reworks from related projects such as Irène de Milo or Cinématique Inverse, each reshaped by the raw energy of Mode in GliANY.
