🎶 Join us for a delightful Saturday afternoon as we welcome the incredible Lande Hekt back to Little Bully! 🎤 The talented former lead of Muncie Girls is gearing up for the release of her third solo album, Lucky Now, and the vibe is electric with her new single, Favourite Pair of Shoes!
Lande Hekt has emerged as one of the UK’s most exciting underground songwriters. Her previous albums, Going To Hell and House Without a View, have touched on themes like queer identity, sobriety, and childhood experiences, all wrapped in heartfelt indie-pop. With Lucky Now, she showcases a more mature and confident side, working alongside producer Matthew Simms (known for his work with Wire and It Hugs Back).
🌟 In her own words, Hekt reflects on her artistic journey: “I’m not as concerned about how I’m presenting myself...I just write songs that connect me to what I value.”
The sound of her new album is inspired by the likes of The Wedding Present and The Sundays, infused with a fresh take on 1980s twee-pop and jangle-pop. Expect to hear melodies that soar and guitars that resonate.
