🎶 Join the Central NC AGO chapter for an exclusive organ workshop at the stunning Duke Chapel and the Divinity School! ✨
Discover the beauty of five remarkable pipe organs at Duke Chapel, each showcasing a unique style and used for worship services, recitals, and organ performance studies. The featured instruments include:
- Flentrop (1976) in the nave
- Aeolian (1932) in the chancel
- Brombaugh (1997) in the Memorial Chapel
- Continuo Organ (John Bennett, 2014), typically used for small group accompaniment in the chancel
- One-Manual Continuo (Flentrop, 1970s) located in the crypt
Additionally, the Duke Divinity School houses a Richards, Fowkes & Co. organ (2008).
Led by John Santoianni, the Ethel Sieck Carrabina Curator of Organs and Harpsichords at Duke, who is responsible for maintaining and tuning these magnificent instruments.
