About the Artists:

Ellie Gowers is a remarkable UK singer-songwriter, harmonizing contemporary acoustic sounds with traditional folk storytelling. Her 2022 debut album Dwelling by the Weir received accolades for its poetic depth and ecological insights, hailed by sources like The Guardian and TradFolk. After her 2024 EP You The Passenger garnered national airplay across BBC Radio 2, 6 Music, and RADMAC, she stands out with influences ranging from MIPSO to Jeff Buckley, exploring themes of distance, longing, and personal identity.

Owl Light Trio, an instrumental ensemble hailing from Oxfordshire, consists of the talented Jane Griffiths (Fiddle & Viola), Colin Fletcher (Guitar), and Jim Penny (Concertina). They delight in deconstructing popular tunes and reconstructing them in creative and sometimes unpredictable manners, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all.
