English Civil War & Steam Event

Join us for an exciting journey back in time at the English Civil War & Steam Event on April 5th & 6th, from 10:00 to 16:00 at the stunning Papplewick Pumping Station!

👥 This immersive experience features the Sealed Knot English Civil War camp and re-enactors, showcasing impressive artillery and musket firing demonstrations. Participate in hands-on weapon handling workshops and enjoy a variety of activities throughout the day!

🍕 Treat yourself to delicious food from our onsite tea room, including tempting Tossed Dough pizzas and refreshing drinks from Lincoln Green Brewery. All engines will be in steam, and marvel at the display of RC model submarines and boats on the cooling pond!

🚶‍♂️ Don't miss the reservoir tours available for an additional fee, and remember to check out our volunteers selling plants from the greenhouse. Little ones can revel in our play area, while friendly dogs on short leads are welcome too!
