FEMQUENCY FLINTA *DJ Workshop & Showcase {EN}

We’re happy to be back at Beate Uwe on March 28th with a FLINTA* DJ-Workshop and a showcase focusing on house music.

Together with Phauna and LABERG, you have the opportunity to dive into the pool of players, mixers, and transitions and learn with and from each other in a safe and welcoming environment! You will be introduced to the basic functions of the equipment step by step. Our basic philosophy is: There are no stupid questions! It is important to us that you get rid of any uncertainties and feel free to ask any questions you may have. Together, we will create exactly the atmosphere we need for this.

The concept behind FEMQUENCY? To empower and show solidarity with one another in the electronic music scene. To provide a space where FLINTA* individuals can exchange ideas and feel comfortable. The acronym FLINTA* stands for women, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender* individuals. We kindly ask you to take this into consideration when registering.

The DJ workshop runs from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. After a short break, you can try out your newly acquired knowledge in front of an audience during the first slot of the party at Beate Uwe from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This slot is reserved for workshop participants. Don't worry, you will receive professional support if you want it. Please note: Your ticket for the workshop is also your ticket to the party afterwards. Tickets are limited to 10. Cost: €99.
We are aware that it‘s a lot of money. Please contact us if you want to participate but cannot afford it and we’ll try to find a solution!

What does the workshop include?
↠ Briefing + working materials sent in advance by email
↠ 3.5-hour DJ workshop (crash course in technology, teaching transitions, and 1-on-1 support from FLINTA* DJs while playing)
↠ Drinks/snacks
↠ Private floor & bar in the club for workshop participants
↠ Followed by DJing from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with professional accompaniment in front of a real audience
↠ Showcase at Beate Uwe
