The Festival in the Park is a prominent outdoor summer arts and music celebration in the upper Midwest, proudly organized by the Matthews Opera House & Arts Center in Spearfish, SD. This festival serves as our primary annual fundraiser, with proceeds supporting arts outreach initiatives in our community and beyond.

With over 25,000 attendees and 185 fine art and craft vendors, this festival showcases handmade and original products.

Important Reminders 🐶🚫

• No Pets Allowed: As per city ordinance, pets are not permitted in the park during this event. Please plan accordingly!

Free Shuttle Service 🚌

Prairie Hills Transit provides free shuttle service to and from the festival, with a wheelchair-accessible shuttle rotating every 15 minutes from Spearfish High School parking lot.
