🎉 Join us for From Lanterns to Liberty, a momentous day of celebration as we honor the spirit of our nation’s founding! 🌟

Hosted by the Warren Heritage Society in collaboration with the County of Warren, this event kicks off America’s 250th Anniversary!

📍 Location: 101 Chester St, Front Royal, VA 22630-3322, United States

✨ Daytime Activities:

• Experience living history: Blacksmithing, Colonial cooking, Candle making, Basket weaving, Sewing
• Engage in Revolutionary-inspired art projects and lantern-making workshops
• Witness student performances and storytelling

🎶 Evening Highlights:

• Community reflections
• Fife and drum performance
• Ceremonial musket demonstration
• Paul Revere’s Midnight Glow Walk – Bring your family lanterns and stroll through downtown Front Royal along Chester Street!

💡 The evening concludes with the historic signal, “One if by land, two if by sea,” illuminated by lanterns, followed by patriotic songs and a reading of Longfellow’s poem.

✨ Local Business Participation:
Businesses are encouraged to light up windows and sidewalks along the Glow Walk route for a magical experience. 🌌

👗 Dress Code: Colonial attire is welcomed, though not required!

✅ Family-Friendly: This event is completely free and open to the public. Chester Street will be closed to traffic during the Glow Walk for a safe experience.
