A day dedicated to information, exploration, and celebrating the vibrant local autistic community. Designed by and for autistic individuals, this enriching conference will take place at The Bridge on Portland Walk in Barrow-in-Furness.

Whether you are a professional, parent/carer, or self-identified autistic, we aim to provide something valuable for everyone!

What to Expect:

• 🎤 Speakers: Engaging talks and panel discussions from local autistic individuals and professionals, focusing on topics such as creativity, diagnosis pathways, employment, mental health, and more! A detailed agenda will be shared soon.
• 🛍 Community Showcase: Explore stalls hosted by various charities, community groups, and services dedicated to supporting autistic individuals.
• 🤲 Sensory Space: Experience a variety of fidget and sensory equipment, guided by Hanna Munro Occupational Therapy.
• 🎬 Film Screening: Witness a unique film screening highlighting local autistic voices, produced by Alex Taylor.

The Furness Autism Expo CIC was founded after discussions involving local autistic individuals and organizations including Autus Cumbria, National Autistic Society - Furness Branch, Shindig Furness, and Triple A Project (All About Autism).
