🌍 Crying by the Sea البكاء على حافة البحر invites you on a unique journey that connects two audiences across continents! As participants step into their respective theatres, they will only find a mesmerizing digital projection illuminating the back wall, allowing them to see each other despite the distance.

📜 This evocative performance touches deep on the themes of socio-economic migration, weaving together poetic texts that explore sorrow through distance, loss, borders, and longing. Audience members will receive a script and are encouraged to read aloud about crossing physical and metaphysical boundaries—joining the audience in El Kef, Tunisia. You may read in Danish, English, or Arabic, followed by an invitation to creatively rewrite the text, passing a refreshed version to the next audience.

🎉 Crafted through workshops in Denmark and Tunisia, this captivating experience aims to transform the theatre into a space of collective mourning and connection. The artistic team has diligently created the live stream from scratch, ensuring a self-organized digital structure for artistic encounters.
