Happy Valley Repair Fair

Join us for a FREE community repair event where amazing volunteers are ready to help you diagnose and potentially fix your household items! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about repairs, save some cash, and keep items from ending up in the landfill. 🌍💚

What Can You Bring for Repair?

• Clean clothes and textiles 👕
• Small electronics 📱
• Small home appliances ⚙️
  Note: Not all repairs will be available at every event. To ensure that your item can be repaired, please contact us at sustainability@clackamas.us with a description of your item.

How Many Broken Items Can I Bring?

To keep the event running smoothly, each person can have one broken item examined at a time. Once your item has been assessed or repaired, visit the registration table to be matched with another volunteer for assistance. If your repair takes longer than 30 minutes, you might be asked to hold off on further repairs.

What’s NOT Accepted?

• Items too large/heavy for one person to carry 🚫
• Microwaves
• Printers, DVD players, VCRs, TVs
• Large appliances
• Items containing hazardous materials like coolant or gasoline
• Unwashed clothing

What to Expect:

Upon arrival, please sign in at the front desk and fill out a liability waiver. Your item may be placed on a hold table while fixers assess the likelihood of a successful repair, taking items in the order they arrive that match their skill set. This means you may need to wait a little with your item. If you leave your item, it will be skipped. While we can't guarantee a fully working item, we'll do our utmost to help!
