Step into a gripping narrative where chance leads a former political prisoner, Vahid, to confront an individual he suspects is his torturer. Though he has never glimpsed the torturer's face, the sound of his artificial leg sounds hauntingly familiar. Vahid's impulsive quest for vengeance soon becomes clouded with uncertainty. Joined by fellow former prisoners, he embarks on a journey to unveil the man's true identity. This film skillfully blends elements of a playful road movie with profound existential themes, diving deep into the complexities of contemporary Iranian politics. Masterfully directed by Palme d'Or winner Jafar Panahi, whose own experiences as a persecuted filmmaker resonate throughout, the film raises a poignant question: Can one take revenge on an oppressive regime through the individuals who uphold it?
