Join us for a vibrant language exchange event where you can immerse yourself in both Japanese and English conversations! 🌏✨

Participation Fee:

• 🇯🇵 Japanese participants (born and raised in Japan): $2
• 🌍 Non-Japanese participants (studying Japanese): $5

Your contributions help cover the upkeep of our website and support future language exchange facilities and social events. Thank you for your understanding! 🙏

Reservation Details:

• RSVP Opens: Saturday 5:00 PM
• Cancellation Deadline: Saturday 2:00 PM (same day)
• RSVP Closes: Saturday 3:00 PM (same day)

Schedule:

• 5:15 PM - 5:30 PM: Check-in and group formation
• 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM: Japanese conversation
• 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM: English conversation

Event Activities:
Welcome to Language Exchange! Split into groups of 3-4 based on your language level, you’ll engage in friendly conversations for 45 minutes in both Japanese and English. Feel free to ask questions and enjoy the informal setting! 🌟

Location:
Atrium Food Court, Toronto
Look for the organizer holding a TJEX sign! If you have any trouble locating us or have questions, feel free to message us. 📍

Reservation Policies (⚠️ Important):

• Missing the event or arriving more than 15 minutes late will be considered a No-Show, leading to membership cancellation after three instances.
• Please notify the organizer if you expect to be late, as we may rearrange groups according to who is present. Arriving more than 30 minutes late is generally not permitted.

Waitlist Information:
If spots are full, you can sign up for the waitlist. If openings occur, those who registered early will be prioritized for participation. Please make sure to check your status on the day of the event. ⏳

Note:
If you're automatically moved from the waitlist to the attending list and do not show up, it will also be counted as a No-Show. Thank you for understanding!
