Since his acclaimed 2010 debut album, Queen of Denmark, was voted MOJO Magazine’s best album of the year, his body of work has captivated audiences globally. With a unique blend of melodious chamber-pop and shimmering dance music, his deep, baritone voice tells stories of personal struggles intertwined with sharp humor.

Originally from Michigan, Grant’s artistic journey was shaped by his upbringing in a conservative, religious environment, leading to battles with depression and addiction throughout his early years. His career took a turning point post the disbandment of The Czars, when he embraced his sobriety and launched a successful solo career. His latest album, The Art of the Lie, has been described as a playful yet soulful journey through music.

Grant has performed at prestigious venues like Royal Albert Hall and collaborated with notable artists such as Sinead O'Connor, Elbow, and Kylie Minogue. Moreover, his involvement in the ballet production A Single Man showcases his diverse artistic talents.
